You are never alone

Posted by on Mar 16, 2017

AngelInsight_HarmonyDo you ever get the sense of being totally overwhelmed? So much ‘stuff’ going on, so much to do, not enough time in the day … and no one else seems to be there when you need help? Maybe there are people about – it’s just that you have become so used to doing things on your own (or maybe even refusing to ask – preferring things done your own way) that it doesn’t occur to call out for help. But please remember that you are never alone. Your angels are always there and always come to your assistance. It’s just that they cannot interfere, they have to be invited in.

I know that feeling of ‘over-whelm’ very well. Especially if I’ve allowed my emotional self to get involved in the drama of other people’s journeys and issues. Even the best of us can let it happen occasionally ad especially when it is close to home!

So when this happens and I’m exhausted, or things are going array, I know I have to step back, take a breather, re-assess my priorities, and try to gain an insight into the bigger picture. I go away from the clammer, take a walk, and ask myself “exactly what is really going on here?”

What is it that really stops us from asking for help? I have a suspicion that at the heart of it is a twitching ego that whispers in our ear. Our ego could be saying any number of things, but the most common things I come across in my work (even though people don’t always realise it is actually their “ego talking” is that we might lose control, or that the job won’t be done exactly to our liking, or that someone else might get the credit at the end of our hard work. Some of us might need to soften up on these ideas a little.

Remember that old saying: “If you want a job doing properly, then do it yourself”? I was brought up on that one. It fed into my already independent free spirit and I soon learned the tiring behaviour pattern of believing that I was quite capable of doing everything I needed done myself. Of course there are problems with this attitude and I’ve learned big lessons as I grow older and wiser. Firstly, if you turn away help people can feel rejected. It may also give the impression that you are so capable you wouldn’t need any help anyway.

When we turn away help we are turning away a gift. If we do that too many times we may find we are not offered that gift again. Then we struggle on for a little longer until at last we change our attitude.
This happens on a spiritual level too. We tell the angelic realms what we need or desire in our thoughts, our daydreams, which create energy. Every request is heard. Yet when the answer is given we don’t often hear it, or its not exactly what we thought it might be, it doesn’t suit us at the time. So we ignore or reject or dismiss it.

The angels will keep on and on trying to help and guide us. Then they step back. They wait for us to ‘lighten up’ to understand what’s happening, to see the bigger picture. Once we have stepped out of the situation, and sometimes because the universe has co-created a really challenging situation where we really do have to stop and listen or re-evaluate our life path – we may ask again with a renewed sense of acceptance.

The angels answer every prayer, every request and give guidance and answers every time. We just have to learn to be quiet and listen, or to stop and notice. That offer of help you just turned down? It might just have been angelic intervention. Sometimes the angels know a little better than we do. They see the bigger picture when we can sometimes only see what’s right in front of our face.

I’ve just been having a great conversation with a very spiritual friend about the ‘heaviness’ in our world just now and how helpless and vulnerable it often makes sensitive people feel. Some of us can’t bear watching news programmes any more, or reading the papers. Some very sensitive empaths are picking up despair and painful emotions from the hearts of refugees all over the world, as well as the political issues and powerful decisions being made that impact us all. There is a lot of fear and this creates dark shadows around our world. Yet there is so much good and Light shining in the world too. So many random acts of kinds and gifts of immense generosity . And, has anyone else noticed what lovely young people so many of our current actors, artists pop-stars and musicians are? (Nothing like the egotistical often foul-mouthed, hotel trashing rock-stars of my youth!!) So things are changing, yes, and as ever has been there is light and darkness, yin and yang, good and bad in our world. As Light-workers we all know what to do, keep on the good work!

Many Hearts Make Light Work

Posted by on Sep 17, 2015

Connected handsYou may have heard the old English proverb, Many hands making light work. We all know the benefits of helping hands when heavy work needs to be done. The same principle applies in our spiritual practice, but with a slightly different message.

Light refers to Divine Love. It means the all encompassing universality of Divine Love which we imagine as a great Light, often seen by mystics as a beautiful, awesome and incredible brightness which is far too bright to look upon.

Light also means wisdom. When one refers to working in the light, one refers to the Light of God’s wisdom that shines with true Divine Love bringing the healing and peace into the darkness. When many like-minded hearts are filled with this Love, then the Light begins to work. Prayer or meditation groups have had significant effect worldwide in bringing healing and peace.

So as you read this message, I ask you to join the many hearts around the world, to call for the light and love of God and the Angels to bring peace into the hearts of all humanity.

The Great Invocation

From the point of light within the mind of God

Let light stream forth into the minds of men

Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God

Let Love stream forth into the hearts of men,

May Christ return to Earth

From the centre where the Will of God is known

Let purpose guide the little wills of men

The purpose which the masters know and serve

From the centre which we call the race of men

Let the Plan of Love and Light work out

And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth

Angels Without Limits

Posted by on Mar 6, 2015

An angel is like a mirror that reflects the truth kindly, for in its reflection you can see who you truly are.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAHave you noticed how many different masks you wear? Each mask is a personality trait you have created to show the rest of the world what you assume they expect of you. Masks are often the tools of insecurity and are worn to please someone else.

By developing different masks for all occasions you are pretending to be someone else. Have you forgotten who you really are? By ignoring your true self you dilute your own energies, your personal magnetism and diminish your potential for growth.

Establish a routine in the mornings. Affirm your ability to be true to yourself. Call on your guardian angel, who knows you better than you know yourself, and ask to be given the courage and honesty to be who you truly are.

The thoughts and actions of angels are not limited by time and space. Angels are not tied to our three dimensional reality. They have no concept of manmade restrictions of time and space, moving freely and instantly between our world and theirs. An angel’s movement is as quick as a thought. The great Archangels can be in several places at any given time.

Don’t be afraid that what you are bringing in your personal dilemma is too insignificant to an Archangel, or that you will not be heard. Yes, there are the major catastrophes in the world and these need great shifts of understanding and human intervention. They are being over-lighted by archangels at every given moment. But so are you. The archangels can do both. The energetic loving energy they emit is way beyond our human capacity for understanding.

A true request, for the right reasons, is never too simple or too small to be heard by the angels. You are loved and important. Please never forget that.

A Special Moment

My trip to the Holy Land blessed me with so many amazing experiences that I could probably carry on with stories for weeks!

IMG_2292I already shared with you the wonder of sailing into the centre of the Sea of Galilee, switching off the engines and meditating, chanting and then sending healing to mind, body and spirit of all. What I didn’t tell you about was the sheer overwhelming sense of love and emotion when I set eyes on the village of Magda, the home and birth place of Mary Magdalene.  I’m not going to pretend that I had any special message there, but if I tell you that I felt such a strong excitement and sense of ‘home’ and that I was reluctant to leave the area you may understand how I might have felt. Many of you will have a similar sense of recognition on your travels to certain areas in the world.

I’d like to share a little story that relates to my trip but has its roots in the beginning of my re-awakening.

When my son was a small boy, in the mid nineteen eighties, he was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes. His dad had the habit of listening to the radio as he drove around London and heard about the benefits of  complimentary therapies. Over the next couple of years I took him to many various therapists and found a brilliant Acupuncterist and Chinese herbalist who specialised in children’s illness. One day, during a very stressful time, we arrived for his session and Robin, the therapist was shocked by my state of health. He insisted that Daniel should play with the toys in the ante-room while I had acupuncture myself. I was told that every system in my body was near collapse, my nervous system, adrenals, liver and heart were all over stressed and he literally covered me in his fine needles. Then he left me to rest a while with the strict instructions not to move! As he closed the door I gently shut my eyes to try and relax but was suddenly aware of being watched. I opened my eyes to find a huge eye looking at me. Wherever I looked it was there staring right at me. If I closed my eyes and opened them, the eye was still there. It was huge, it was looking at me with a gentle but piercing stare. It unnerved me. Then I closed my eyes and opened them again to see if it was still there. The room had filled with eyes. Pairs of eyes in all colours, shapes and sizes.

Robin walked back in and was unimpressed by my description and excitement. I guessed he thought I’d actually flipped! I was puzzled and sought some answers, even from the vicar of my local church. To no avail.  Until I spoke to my own dad who laughed and said that this was the eye of God, and that I was being looked at very closely… and that I was to understand that I was being observed by the all seeing eye.

WIMG_2379hy am I telling this story now? Because in the church of the transfiguration on mount Nebo in the Holy Lands…. I found the eye again! I walked around the church, enjoying the energy there and feeling a strong sense of the sacred. As there was a communion service being held in the lower body of the church I moved to the side of the alter where I found this painted on the ceiling. Two angels…. and the eye!

I felt compelled to kneel down straight away and took a deep breath. In my head I began to say the Lord’s prayer. At the very same moment the congregation who had been taking communion did exactly the same. A very special moment, for someone who is always seeking answers and signs. What a sign!
